I worked for a company Called IGE not too long ago for 4 months, before I went into college.

Tomo worked with me.. Our job was simple, we were given 2 well written pdf files , each one with over 50-60 exploits in World of Warcraft's system. We used 2 computers , decent specs windowsxp home , they only had basic programs with windows xp ( internet explorer , notepad etc. ) and World of Warcraft in the system.
We ran on lowest quality everything we were given 2 accounts one for each of us. These accounts contained 1 horde rogue lvl60 and 1 alliance rogue lvl60 on one of the most popular PvP servers.
We both did everything from teleport exploits , instant zone ins , tracking exploits etc. Just basic stuff at first. Within our first month Tomo and I wrote up 4-6 different scripts for IGE which they passed to the "24/7" gold farmers we had not known much at the time the conditions those people were working in so we had not put much thought into what we were doing. Each script offered us around 200-400 USD each. It really did not take much programming knowledge to write them , they gave us a basic macro program and told us to specify a script for a different part of a certain zone ( namely everyones favorite "Tyrs Hand" ).
After working for them about 2 months making a decent amount of money for a part-time job, They "promoted" us to a different level of gold farming.
Since one of the main "managers" was a good friend of ours he had explained to us one of the biggest ways IGE makes gold is not by having a couple hundred chinese boys and girls farming 24/7 for pennies on the dollar, but bleive it or not was through "fixed" epic drops off certain mobs. Every week we were given a note with a fixed location / time / and mob name that would drop a certain epic item , one example which I remember is a Carrion Grub in Eastern Plaguelands dropping an epic Glowing brightwood staff 2 times in one day one for Tomo and Alliance rogue and one for me a Horde rogue .. basically one for each market.
Although our friend never told us how this process worked it has led me to believe that maybe our "Anti-Gold farming" company Blizzard may be in on IGE's million dollar market , I mean really how much easier can it be ? You make a game have millions of subscribers and then create "make believe" online currency to sell to stupid people with alot of money in their wallets? Sony did it with EverQuest , why not Blizzard with WoW ? Nerds get their pride through having better things than everyone else and Blizzard IGE get their money how perfect can it be? But hey that's just an opinion not a fact ^_^.
Tomo and I had met a $2000.00 quota in 2 weeks , I remember us both walking into the office to get the check but this day was the day that made us both quit.
As referenced here in my blog and as many of you already know , IGE is a slavedriving sweatshop business..But of course they don't admit it , They pay children (16 years ) China/Japan/Korea and other poor countries to sit in un-aircondtioned warehouses to play 12 hours a day for 1$ an hour. Tomo and I had walked by a room with over 20 over worked / tired and miserable adults and teenagers sitting in front of computers playing World of Warcraft. We were both sick , we had written scripts so that they could sit in front of computers all day to make no where near enough money to get by.
Yes it is their decision they are not slaves but they are being taken advantage of and everyone who buys gold ( I'm sure most of WoW's player base ) supports it. We walked into that office took the check , and reported the building to authorities. It was shut down and moved I am sure to a different place within a week.

I hope everyone that has read this has learned something , think before you buy that 2k gold from IGE or e-bay sure your getting that uber-l33t EPIC MOUNT ! or that purple you have always wanted but your also supporting a slave-driving sweatshop business.

Tak predevsim sundejte si ruzove bryle. Jak si myslite ze to v takove Cine chodi?
1. Pokud maji ty deti rodice, tak je to vina rodicu

Vsichni mluvi o bezpravi, otrocine, ale stejne udelaji kulovy s prehazovackou (vcetne me). Nerikam, ze to ma byt lidem lhostejne, ale spousta statu vcetne EU se snazi zlepsit situaci v zemich jako Cina, Severni Korea atd. Tyhle injekce pomahaji alespon trochu. I kdyz je Cina nejvykonejsi ekonomika sveta (nebo bude nejvykonejsi), stejne se s v te miliarde lidi najdou miliony tech co nemaji jinou moznost, nez delat takovou "mizernou" praci v nevetrane mistnosti a 12 hodin denne.
Obhajuju to pouze v pripade ze nebyli donuceni, jinak je to zlocin.

Jo jo tak nejak. Ono to mas tezky. Je spousta veci, ktere ty ovlivnuji. Od mista, kde se ten clovek nachazi (vysoka nezamestnanost atp.) az po rezim (to nemusi byt nutne problem). Vzdycky si predstavuju ty zdeseny tzv. zastance lidskych prav, bojovniky proti xxx. Ale dost uz ... |

psal jsem na tohle tema zajimavej clanek na gamezone, bylo to zalozene na interview s jednim takovym clovekem co si takhle vydelava tim ze farmi zlato ve WoW a nijak si nestezoval.
Rikal ze bere tolik, co by mel jinak jako delnik na stavbe, takze je to celkem OK.

Kdo se pohybuje na tomhle trhu tak vi, ze IGE uz davno neni tou Big One, naopak ma nejmensi prijmy, protoze ma vyssi kurzy [treba itemgarden chce za 5m adena nakejch 9$, ige chteji 15..a tak je to se vsim).
IGE se proslavilo hlavne prodejem uctu a itemu [kdysi..]

na to tema je dneska v MF dnes pekna reportaz.. jak se meni Cina. Ze pred 10ti lety tam meli rocne 10K demonstraci, letos uz 80K, ale temer zadna proti vlade.. spis proti tomu ze nekde nemaj ani tu rejzi a jinde chodej ve zlate, pripade ze jim vlada znarodni pozemky a potom jim zpetne vyplaci malo penez za pudu.. odborari..prace.. proste klasika.
je ale otazkou, jestli proste nedemonstruji proti vlade ze strachu, jeste porad je tam bezne strilet do lidi.. |

chapu ze na zakladni skole se Ekonomie nebere ...
ale nazorne aby to kazdej pochopil,
kdyz bude (pro jednoduchost) vykupni cena 10g 1USD
a spolecnost 1, bude prodavat 10g za 2USD, ziska 1USD na kazdych 10g (-dalsi naklady)
spolecnost 2, prodava 2x draz, za 4USD, ale zisk ma 3x vetsi (3USD na 10g)
tj i kdyz proda 2x min goldu, porad si vydela o dost vic (proda li 3x min sou na tom stejne, ale stejne bude mit spol.2 mensi rezii bo toho prodava min)
v podstate me jen zajima kde jsi dosel k tvrzeni ze IGE ma nejmensi prijmy .. kdyz se zcela urcite tyhle cisla nezverejnuji |

ano, mas pravdu, ze kdyby prodavali 2xmin za 3x vic penez tak vydelaj nejvic.. ale tak to neni.
cisla se nezverejnuji, to je fakt..ale jsou urcite zpusoby.
Jak rikam IGE byla legenda, byli prvni.. ale to je tak vse. Vkazdem pripade chtel bych videt ty pdfka ;-) a jak casto jim na to prijdou |

to je jak ti Novakovi maji hodne deti a kazdy rok se jim narodi dalsi, tak na vanoce je davaji sousedum dvorakovym, co nemaji zadne, ze ?
(po treti uz Dvorakovi rikaji: diky, letos uz nechceme, dame si radeji zase toho kapra..)
